Questions?
What are jawline fillers?
Jawline fillers are dermal fillers injected into your jaw which result in a tighter jawline and a fresher look. They are made from purified hyaluronic acid, which is found naturally in the body. The hyaluronic acid works to enhance your jaw, leaving natural-looking results.
How do jawline fillers work?
Jawline fillers work by injecting filler product into the jaw. We use hyaluronic acid, which occurs naturally in the skin. It mimics bone in its structure, filling out ageing skin and giving you a more contoured and sharper looking jawline.
How long do jawline fillers take to work?
You will see visible results immediately after you have had jawline filler injections. The filler then takes about two weeks to fully develop along your jaw.
How long do jaw fillers last?
Jaw fillers generally last between 6-12 months. However, they can have lasting effects for as long as 18-24 months, depending on how your body reacts to the filler product.
What do jaw fillers do?
Quite simply, jaw fillers leave you with a sharper and more defined jawline. Adding filler product can, in fact, make other features, such as the face and neck, appear slimmer because it has a contouring effect. Jaw fillers can also result in a more sculpted chin.
Which fillers do you use?
We only use the market-leading brand, Juvederm.
Why Face&Co?
Dermal fillers can be risky, especially if they’re not done properly. There are plenty of beauty therapists performing filler treatments at the moment and the truth is, they’re not properly qualified and have likely only taken a 1-day training course. If filler treatment is not done correctly, risks can include blindness, infection and the need for surgery if not injected into the correct area.
To ensure you are receiving safe and quality treatment, Face&Co Chester is a doctor-led clinic. We only employ experienced medical practitioners who are on at least one of the following registers:
- British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS)
- Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP)
- Save Face
- British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN)
- British College of Aesthetic Medicine (BCAM)
Your safety is our main priority. Always make sure you ask to see that qualifications of the practitioner performing your treatment before going ahead with a procedure.
